While Eyra and Lazar fight for the throne of the Fire Queen in Estraora and attempt to seize the Ice Crystal, the rest of their companions set out to recover the remaining gemstones. Noah and Fayette travel to Oritea in search of the Faestone, while Saul and Patricia head to Vallesland, where the Emerald of the Wood Elves is guarded by the reigning monarch. Along the way, they face more than one challenge – but the greatest threat comes from a traitor: a servant of the dark forces, determined to ruin their plans.
